- Do not spend time on attempting to blame someone or something.
- State the problem clearly.
- Consider possible sources of help in solving the problem. List names of people who could help solve the problem.
- Study the problem in a calm manner. Think of possible solutions. Make a list of possible solutions.
- List the consequences that follow from each possible solution. For example, "if I do that, this will probably happen".
- Select the best possible solution or solutions.
- Follow through with the best possible solution or solutions.
These were the things we had to think about when trying to help out for our case study we are doing today and moving forward.
